On reading this I could relate and feel the melancholy too. I wondered if I was alone, but now feel seen. Thank you for sharing your beautiful heart MK! 💕

I have been there. It’s like leaving your previous life and now you’re entering a new life, a life that you love yet you still mourn a part of who you were in the life that you used to be a part of. Much love to you, Mary Katherine.

I can also relate. Maybe it’s because as we let go of the people pleasing and start caring for our own needs all the pain we have stuffed down just starts coming to the surface.

To know that there is a kernel of darkness in every light, and a glimmering spark in the darkest life is the journey of our mind. Your post and words is our heart traveling, weary and wary, hopeful and alive. Thank you again for lluminating tears of recognition.
