I'm glad you're here and I'm glad I get to be here with you and scores of other beautiful humans. I know it doesn't always feel like it, but take solace in the fact that those with warmth, love, and kindness in their hearts vastly outnumber those who don't.

I am in physical pain from my disease. As I lay here with a heating pad, unable to move, I find myself dwelling on every misstep, every wrong turn, and feel that I may never be able to reconcile what happened to me, and the pain I passed on to others. The road less taken reverberates within my soul, and someday, the acceptance and possible grace may come. Your piece gave me peace, and I am grateful.

And SHE is amazing. Keep on loving her. Keep on letting her grow. Keep letting her feel. Keep showing her grace. And, please, please remind her that she is not alone. ♥

Wandering...that's what I'm doing. I read something of yours...get lost in the woods for a bit, then realize I can come back and read another one, after some time passes. I just wander between readings...want to put the end of the book off for a while.

This so perfectly describes my youngest daughter. She says her soul has a palpable change when she goes out into nature alone. It is an inert need for her. She is amazing.

We have a similar heart that feels the weight. I’m glad you have a platform that allows us to feel like we aren’t alone. We can pool our tears of heartbreak and create an ocean of love and activism. It won’t change unless we change it🤷🏼‍♀️
