Love the last line. Well put. I also love the definition of sin which Richard Rohr also uses… so much more benign and easy to accept. We miss the mark. We are works in progress. We are clay not a finished masterpiece. We get to learn to love bigger and better each day. Amen πŸ™ŒπŸ»

You summed up the issue so succinctly and clear-eyed. We all have a lot of work untangling our biases from these super critical societal issues. Thank you.

Love this! I also grew up in Christianity and as I still believe in the Lord there are so many things that I have questioned and also re thought so to speak. I was just having a conversation about the devil's lettuce lol with a friend and then I come home and here's your video and article. I use it for anxiety, sleep and headaches (I use 1:1 which is CBD and THC) and it takes the place of 3 different medications I could be on and would be ok in the eyes of people because I got them from a Dr so it's ok but in the end it's still a drug. So I'd rather go the natural route. Yes I use it and it doesn't make me a bad person I still go to work 40 plus hours a week and pay my bills like any other productive member of society.

Just ordered from FOCL today. I tried weed in my late 20’s. Mostly left me red eyed and giggling. Until someone laced the joint with cocaine and I thought I was having a heart attack. After that experience the only other time was an edible, Jamaican β€œbrownie”, the ganglia spice cake. That was a trip! Now after going through cancer, surgery, chemotherapy and many follow up scans I am anxious and stressed. Not to mention depressed and nerve damage from the chemotherapy. I am currently on an antidepressant that only partially helps. My hope is that Chill Out and the sleep gummies will support what I’m already doing. I’m so glad you wrote this story as I was on the fence about trying edibles. As a Christian and a parent/grandmother I didn’t want to be/feel bad about this choice. I’m 72 now and I’m feeling that what future I have left should be happy and without guilt for how I achieve it. I love your posts and can relate to much of what you share. Keep bringing it on and spreading that Crazy Joy!

I have had incredible results regaining some pleasure and activity in my life thanks to less debilitating pain, no depression, less anxiety, less nausea, migraines, muscle spasms and more... more time with my family, being outside, getting out of my house and even being able to do some chores. I have multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, chronic migraines, trigeminal neuralgia and of course anxiety and depression along with insomnia. Not any more. MN is going recreational now which means many people will be able to see its not the devil Nancy Regan tried to convince us it was.

I don't have a problem with weed, my problem is what I'm watching it do to my son with a bipolar disorder. We have had to distance ourselves from him when he started using this week again and had a psychotic break and assaulted a state trooper, an er nurse & threatened his dad and his brother. So as much good as it has it also has its bad, so let's look at both sides of the coin.

And the simple fact is these days it isn't the same as when we were kids, being laced with fentanyl more so these days.

Look at all of the natural remedies that have been used over hundreds or even thousands of years. Herbs, flowers, spices, all therapeutic in their own unique way. However, the medicalization of society would now have people believe that the only way to health is through pills. Natural supplements are demonized because there is no evidence via peer reviewed studies. But, look a little deeper and you will find that these studies are never done in the first place because the medical industrial complex knows the outcome, and they don't want to have to explain themselves. It is also extremely difficult to get government grant money to do a study when the FDA, CDC, and other federal power that be, are working against you. So, it is easier to just say that "natural" solutions are not recommended because there is no proof that they have any therapeutic effect. All of that being said, you also have the issue of medical researchers being blacklisted if they even think about questioning the government/big pharma narrative. Just ask Dr. Ryan Cole, Dr. Robert Malone, and others that dared question big pharma on the MRNA COVID Vax. The system is rigged against the little guy and we have to use the intellect that is granted to us as children of God and look past the deception that the enemy puts in front of us every day.

Mary loved this......found often when I read your stories I find myself humming the same tune...."Think of your fellow man. Lend him a helping hand. Put a little love in your heart." Thanks for helping my heart stay in tune. b
